Bombshell: Documents suggest official Fast & Furious cover-up

Newly-revealed documents suggest there was a fast and furious cover-up by the Phoenix U.S. Attorney’s office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives when guns recovered from the crime scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry’s murder were quickly linked to the ATF’s gun trafficking sting operation.

Bellevue’s Gottlieb calls for Holder’s resignation

A Texas senator is calling for personnel dismissals from Attorney General Eric Holder in relation to Operation Fast and Furious, and members of Congress say the investigation should continue, but Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Bellevue-based Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms has a more direct perspective.

BREAKING: Sources say Melson out at ATF

The Obama administration says it will review the cases of more than 300,000 illegal immigrants facing deportation to determine if they can stay in the United States.

In a letter to a group of lawmakers, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says officials will review each case to identify "low priority" offenders, including those who have been in the U.S. for a lengthy period, to allow the agency to focus more on deporting convicted criminals and others who pose a threat to public safety.

One Dead Monster, Another Rears His Ugly Head

By now you have seen the headlines and images of destruction: the rioting, looting, violent assaults, and arson. London and other UK cities look like war zones and their citizens are afraid to venture out, because the danger is very real. It’s a view of the temporary breakdown of society. It is gut check time; a time when the concept of being able to defend oneself gives way to the stark reality that few viable options to do so exist.

Coalition forces killed the Taliban insurgents involved with the recent downing of the CH-47 helicopter, with a precision airstrike in Chak District, Wardak province, Aug 9.

The strike killed Taliban leader Mullah Mohibullah and the insurgent who fired the shot associated with the Aug. 6 downing of the CH-47 helicopter, which resulted in the deaths of 38 Afghan and coalition service members.

Thirty eight coalition members were killed, Aug. 6, when a coalition CH-47 crashed while on a mission that targeted a Taliban leader in the Tangi Valley, Sayyidabad District, Wardak province.

The helicopter was reportedly fired on by an insurgent rocket-propelled grenade while transporting the U.S. service members and commandos to the scene of an on-going engagement between ISAF and insurgents forces.

The U.S. service members on board included five aircrew and 25 personnel from the U.S. Special Operations Command.
