Former SecState Clinton Accused of End Run
By Harold Hutchison

Prior to a hearing by the House Committee on Government Oversight scheduled for Wednesday, a new bombshell exploded when details of what one whistleblower from the State Department will tell the committee emerged over the weekend. Mark I. Thompson is the deputy director of the State Department’s counter-terror unit, and will claim that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tried to cut his unit out of the decision-making process.

According to a report on FoxNews.com, Thompson’s testimony is expected to back claims made in October by another official in the same bureau of the State Department. The revelations come as another whistleblower’s testimony is expected to cast new light on UN Ambassador Susan Rice’s repetition of “talking points” that later proved to be inaccurate.

Greg Hicks, the senior surviving diplomat in Libya after the 11 September, 2012 attack that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, will reportedly tell the House Oversight Committee, “I think everybody in the mission thought it was a terrorist attack from the beginning.”

Representative Stephen Lynch (D-MA), discussed the talking points and Ambassador Rice’s Sunday show appearances after the attack on Fox News Sunday, saying, ““It was totally inaccurate. There's no excuse for that. It was false information. And what they try to do is harmonize what happened in Benghazi with what happened everywhere else across the Middle East.”

Lynch went on to admit that the talking points may have been revised to avoid causing Obama difficulty since he was claiming “Al-Qaeda in on the run” during a tight re-election battle with former Massachusetts governor Mill Romney. Obama narrowly won re-election.
