This November may be the most critical election for freedom we have ever had in America. Our next President may appoint 2 or possibly 3 Supreme Court Justices. Our current President has appointed 2 in the last 4 years. Both have been opposed to our second amendment rights. All appointments to the court must be ratified by the US Senate. This is another reason for our vote to count.

The McDonald and Heller cases in the Supreme Court were decided by a 5-4 decision. We cannot afford to have anyone appointed to the Court that will not support the Second Amendment. We must vote Freedom first in November and support candidates that support our rights and freedoms.

The President will also appoint an Ambassador to the United Nations. For over 10 years the UN has been trying to pass an Arms Trade Treaty. The first attempt was stopped during the Bush administration by Ambassador John Bolton. The present treaty has been stalled by the actions taken by the NRA. For the President to agree to sign a Treaty, he must have support by 2/3rd of the Senator. The NRA has been lobbying Senators for over a year. And over 50 Senators have pledged not to support a US treaty that would infringe on our Second amendment rights and civilian firearms ownership and use.

In a Report from NSSF they have given us the Democratic Nation Committee’s Party’s Platform on Gun Control. It reads:
We recognize that they individual right to bear arms is an important part of the American tradition, and we will preserve Americans’ Second Amendment right to own and use firearms. We believe that the right to own firearms is subject to reasonable regulation. We understand the terrible consequences of gun violence; it serves as a reminder that life is fragile, and our time here is limited and precious. We believe in an honest, open national conversation about firearms. We can focus on effective enforcement of existing laws, especially strengthening our background check system, and we can work together to enact commonsense improvements- like reinstating the assault weapons ban and closing the gun show loophole- so that guns do not fall into the hands of those irresponsible, law-breaking few.

The Obama White House has for the past four years been exploring ways to advance the gun control agenda.

According to Sarah Brady, the President himself told her, “I just want you to know that we are working on it (gun control). We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”

Leading gun control advocate Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY-4) recently said, “ I have spoken to the President. He is with me on (gun Control), and it’s just going to be when that opportunity comes forward that we’re going to be able to go forward.”

If Obama is re-elected, the reinstatement of the ban on modern sporting rifles will be imminent. He has supported a reinstatement of the ban ever since it expired in 2004. A second term also means Obama and his cronies will no longer need to operate “under the radar” but instead will have the flexibility and political freedom to push the rest of their personal pent-up anti-gun, anti-industry agenda leaving no stone unturned- such as the drive to ban online ammo sales, restrict magazine capacity and mandate firearms micro stamping.

We need a government that supports our God given rights and freedoms that our forefathers wrote into our Constitution and Bill of Rights
It is not just firearms; it is all of our rights and freedoms that are in harm’s way if we do not stand up and vote freedom first.

God Bless America
