LEAHY SAYS BLOOMBERG ADS WRECKED GUN CONTROL
Senior Democrat Slams NYC Mayor

New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg’s ad campaign may have wrecked chances to pass gun control legislation. That is the view of a senior Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) made the comments while on CSPAN’s “Newsmakers” program. He is not the only Democrat to make those comments. Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY), who has pushed gun grabs over the years, also criticized Bloomberg’s ad campaign.
According to Breitbart News, Leahy also tried to cast blame on those who opposed new gun laws in the wake of the December, 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that let 20 children and six adults dead.
