Osama bin Laden’s son-in-law has been captured, and is heading to the United States to face trial. Sulaiman Abu Ghaith served as a spokesman for al-Qaeda, and lost his Kuwaiti citizenship after appearing in videos for the terrorist group.
Abu Ghaith was captured in Jordan after being kicked out of Turkey. The capture is seen as a significant blow to the terrorist organization.
“It goes right to the heart of al Qaeda, because it's bin Laden's son in law. That's a psychological victory for us and a psychological defeat for al Qaeda,” Representative Peter King (R-NY) told the Wall Street Journal.
