ANOTHER CHICOM ADIZ?
Location: South China Sea
By Harold Hutchison
After a somewhat tepid response by the Obama Administration to Communist China’s establishment of an Air Defense Identification Zone over the Senkaku Islands may have encouraged a similar move in the South China Sea.
According to a report by the Washington Free Beacon, the ChiComs already have a draft plan to impose an ADIZ in the South China Sea, where Communist China has multiple territorial disputes with the Philippines and Vietnam, among other countries.
The ADIZ will reportedly include the Paracel Islands, where a 1974 battle was fought between the ChiComs against the South Vietnamese. A South Vietnamese corvette was sunk in that battle.
