AMERICAN OLYMPIANS TOLD NOT TO WEAR TEAM USA GEAR
State Department Issues Warning Prior to Olympics

The State Department is advising American athletes taking part in the Olympics to not wear their “Team USA” gear, fearing that it will make them terror targets. The warning comes as Russia continues its search for as many as four “black widow” bombers.
According to a report by Breitbart News, a memo from the U.S. Olympic Committee said in part, “The U.S. Department of State has advised that wearing conspicuous Team USA clothing in non-accredited areas may put your personal safety at greater risk.”
Terrorism has occurred before at Olympic Games: In 1972, eleven Israeli athletes were killed by terrorists at the Summer Olympics held in Munich. The 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta were hit with a bomb placed by Eric Rudolph.
