The leader of the Islamic State, formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), has reportedly been among the casualties of an air strike.
According to a report by the London Daily Mail, the Iraqi military believes that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (pictured above spewing his hot air during a Mosul sermon), the leader of the group, is dead. The Iraqis stated that same strike has resulted in the death of a close confidante of al-Baghdadi’s, Auf Abdulrahman Elefery, also known as Abu Suja in the air attack on a convoy near Mosul, which has been held by ISIS.
